Well, all great things must come to an end.

• This was something that my dad would always tell me when it was time for me to go to bed.

And truer words have never been spoken. Now that I’m entering my sixties, it’s finally time to let go of running. My hips, knees plus ankles are absolutely thrilled with this turn of events. But the rest of me isn’t all that satisfied. I enjoyed going for a run before heading into the commercial HVAC of the office each afternoon. And there were plenty of evenings that I chose a run over good inside the central A/C of my apartment after work. So saying goodbye to my running has not been easy. But having installed a apartment gym with a ductless heat pump in my basement is helping. One thing I always enjoyed about running was that I was outside of the A/C plus in the fresh air. I still like to get outside the central A/C of our apartment plus go for a walk with my fiance. But when it comes to the exercising that I can do these afternoons, I need to do that in a gym setting. So having a bit of a apartment gym in my basement was a no brainer. After I found the component I needed at a harshly reduced price because it was used, I called the HVAC dealer. I wanted to love exercising no matter the season plus our basement did not have any quality heating plus air. So that’s why I have the ductless heat pump plus I love it.

My fiance finally admitted that this was the best Christmas we’d ever had.

I knew this however for sure, I wasn’t going to say anything.

I was the main reason why this holiday season was so different. That’s because I told my fiance plus her parents that they were welcome inside the central A/C of our apartment for Christmas. But I wasn’t making that trip any longer. My fiance plus I have now been married for 17 years. My friend and I ended up having dogs instead of having kids. That meant we always had to travel to my fiance’s parents apartment for family Christmas. But the last time we were there, my nieces plus nephews couldn’t be bothered plus we barely saw them. So the idea of leaving attractive weather down south just wasn’t worth it anymore. Why should I leave an part that does not even need the heat pump to be working to go deal with a extreme winter? Plus, my fiance’s parents keep their control machine pegged plus the gas heating system on almost constantly. It’s one thing to be in a region where it’s freezing outside. But it’s a whole other thing to have to sweat it out while you are inside. So I finally just said I was done with the traveling plus they were welcome to come here. Surprisingly, they chose to come down plus spend Christmas with us plus my control machine setting. But we ended up having just the best time ever. And it only took my fiance two weeks to finally admit that this absolutely was the best Christmas ever.

We weren’t two weeks into being cooped up inside the central a/c of our dwelling before I knew that I needed my own space, for one, I really didn’t like having to share the a/c inside the small dwelling office with my husband.

Much of my labor requires a lot concentration plus focus.

But my husband spends much of his afternoon on the iPhone talking with customers. Sharing a small space like that can be really challenging. I just could not ever not sort of listen to his conversations which kept me from focusing on my work. But getting a place of my own, where I could easily do some work, was not going to be the easiest thing. Initially, I tried sitting under the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C air duct at the study room table. But there were constant interruptions given the fact that all of our children were also dwelling schooling online. So there just really wasn’t anywhere inside the central a/c of my house that I could go for some privacy. That’s how I ended up with a ductless heat pump in my garage. It was really the only space that was left in my house. So I had the local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier come out plus install some residential Heating, Ventilation plus A/C. And after that I put an office in the corner of my garage. It easily worked out just good while I was at dwelling during the pandemic. And I cherish it now as it’s a good spot to be quiet or to go out plus do some tinkering. Whatever the activity, I sure do care about the quality heating plus air gave by the ductless heat pump.

I have no idea how I have such bad luck when it comes to wood stoves.

When I was a little girl, I tried helping my parents out by adding wood to our wood stove one evening. My parents were in the other room, so they did not even know that I did it. I didn’t mention it to them because I thought that I was doing something sweet. I had all good intentions, but what I didn’t realize was that I didn’t close the door all of the way, and a piece of wood fell out. It was on fire, so it caught the rug on the floor on fire. Thankfully, my dad found the fire before it got too big. I had nightmares about that for years. My husband and I bought a house with a wood stove years ago. I absolutely love the smell of a wood burning stove. It reminds me of home because I grew up having a wood stove. Somehow, I managed to catch my house on fire with our wood stove as well. I have no idea how I did it this time. I just woke up in the middle of the night to a fire. It was the scariest thing that I have ever experienced. I am so glad that we were able to get out of the house. We were able to save the house, but my wood stove was damaged quite a bit. I refuse to use a wood stove now. I am too afraid of them, and I think that I have good reason to be afraid of them.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I am not going to lie. I absolutely love getting gifts. I love to give gifts as well, but to be honest, getting gifts makes me so much happier. I know for sure that gift giving is my love language. My husband could buy me something as little as a candy bar, and I would be so happy. He knows how much I love getting gifts, so he buys me things all of the time. I am so thankful for such a thoughtful and caring man. My husband and my mom are the two people in my life who know that I love gifts and who are willing to buy me things all of the time. My mom got me a humidifier for Christmas this year, and I was beyond excited. My cousin asked me in private if I was disappointed with my gift this year, but I told him that I certainly was not disappointed. I love my humidifier. I had not even expressed to my mom that I had been wanting a humidifier for awhile, so I have no idea how she knew that I wanted one. I think that my husband may have told her, but I don’t even remember mentioning a humidifier to him either. He was super happy when I opened up the humidifier though. It was almost like he knew that I was going to get a humidifier. I have used my new humidifier about three times, and I really like it. I find that my skin is not as dry as before, and that is really nice. I love getting gifts even if it is just a humidifier.

I wish I knew ahead of time when something was going to go wrong.

I know that most people would say that, but it just isn’t usually possible to know when something is going to go wrong.

I took a long road trip with one of my friends last week, and it was the worst road trip of my life. It would have been great if the air conditioning in my car had not stopped working within the first few hours of the trip. I have never had any issues with my car, so I thought that it would be a great idea for us to take my car on the road trip. Well, my air conditioning obviously had other ideas. It started getting warm in the car, so I turned the air conditioner way down to the coldest temperature. I also turned the blower on full blast. It just seemed like the air that was blowing out was not very cool, and I found out later that it truly wasn’t. I called my husband and asked him why the air conditioner would be blowing out warm air, and he said that it probably had a leak. We stopped by a mechanic about ten hours into our road trip, and he told us that one of our air conditioning lines was leaking, and it needed to be replaced. I asked him how much it would cost, and it was super pricey. I decided not to get it replaced because I didn’t want to spend the money on it at that time. I almost wish that I would have because the rest of the trip was quite miserable without air conditioning.

I am so thankful to say that I got my furnace fixed for free last week. Well, I had to pay for the broken part, but I did not have to pay for the service because one of my friends offered to fix it for free. I had been having furnace troubles for about a year, but I did not mention it to anyone which was a mistake on my part. I realize now that a lot of people would have helped me, but I was too proud to ask for help. Well, God humbled me through this whole experience, and He showed me that I have some pretty amazing friends in my life. I finally told one of my friends that my furnace was having trouble, but that wasn’t until he was over at my house and noticed that it was a bit chilly. He asked me why I kept my house so cool, and I told him that it was not my choice. I set the thermostat to seventy-five degrees, but it was still chilly in my house. He worked for an HVAC company for a few years, so he knew a little bit about HVAC work. He asked if he could look at my furnace, and of course, I told him that he could. He immediately knew what was wrong, and he offered to fix it if I just bought the part. I am so thankful for such wonderful friends, and I have learned from this experience not to be too prideful to ask for help when I need it.

I have the most wonderful best friend in the world.

Her name is Alamy.

She is so sweet, and we have been good friends for sometime now. I am pretty sure that we have known each other for about ten years. We were best friends from the start. It was nice to be able to connect to someone so easily. I have never had that happen to me before. Almay is one of the most frugal people that I know. It drives me crazy how frugal she is sometimes. One of the things that frustrates me is that she does not use air conditioning in her house or car. She refuses to use air conditioning because she thinks that it is too expensive. I understand that it can be quite expensive to run air conditioning throughout your house all summer long, but we live down south, and it is obnoxiously hot sometimes. I have no idea how she makes it in that house of hers without air conditioning during the summertime. Last summer, there were about fifteen days that got above one hundred degrees, and most days were in the nineties. Almay took it like a champ. Whenever we wanted to hang out though, I told her that she had to come to my house because I actually had air conditioning. She never argued with me although she was always freezing at my house because she wasn’t used to the air conditioning. I turN the temperature in my house up to seventy-five degrees whenever she comes over, but she is still cold.
