• They were so careless that they dropped a wood plank right onto our central heating and air conditioner! I could not know they were not more careful! As a result, our central heat and A/C component was not only dented and destructiond, but it knocked something loose which made myself and others have to call the local heat and A/C dealer to send out one of their certified heating and cooling specialists to repair our central Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system unit! And know myself and others when I tell you that the cost of the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repair and the cost of a modern casing for our central heating and air conditioner was charged to the construction dealer.

At first they tried to argument myself and others on that, but when I told them that I would take them to small claims court and sue them for as much as I could get out of them, they ecstaticly paid for it without another word! They need to be more careful when doing construction toil in someone’s house around the central heat and A/C unit, but people do not realize that central heat and A/C systems can not take the beatings that they guess they can. At least they paid for it. They continued with the construction and got our roof fixed although I will say one thing, I will never hire these men again.

I recently switched from an outdated digital temperature control to a smart temperature control. It has been ages since I had the ductwork of my central heating plus a/c cleaned.

It almost seems like it has been a lifetime to be honest.

The air flow of my heating plus A/C has not been going so unbelievable lately, so this was my signal that I needed ductwork cleaning. I called the heat plus cooling system company plus tied up one of their most certified heating plus cooling specialists to clean the ductwork of my central air conditioning plus gas furnace. The price of the ductwork cleaning was not too bad. It could have been worse. But right after I had my ductwork cleaned my heating plus cooling was working better than ever before! I could not know the large difference in air flow coming out of the air vents of my Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit. It was almost like getting a brand new plus current central heat plus cooling system unit to be honest with you all. I just have to say that this whole experience was an awakening to me. In the future I am going to get my ductwork cleaned on a correct basis for sure. Maybe every 4 weeks sounds good. I would like to have this type of air flow going on always. And getting my ductwork cleaned would be the best way plus possibly only way to achieve this goal. I can not know I let my ductwork cleaning go this long. But like I said, it was a wake up call plus correct ductwork cleaning is going to be all the time for myself and others now moving forward!

I have a shed built behind my house that I use as my gym.

Although the space isn’t gigantic, it’s big enough for my purposes.

I like that it has a cement floor and windows at both ends for ventilation. I have invested into folding mats, a set of hand weights, a jump rope and incline bench, and I workout for about an hour every day. When we first moved in, the shed was outfitted with electricity but lacked temperature control. We live in an area with a fairly mild climate. For the majority of the year, I can dress in shorts and a tank top and open the windows for the sake of fresh air. However, the middle of summer brings temperatures in the mid nineties and excessive humidity. The middle of winter presents the opposite issues, with cold temperatures down into the low forties. I initially tried to get by with a box fan and portable space heater. The fan wasn’t sufficient to cool down the space. I’d sweat profusely before I even finished my warmup. It was difficult to get motivated and push myself when I felt so overheated and sticky. The portable heater wasn’t enough to keep the shed warm. I’d bundle up in layers of clothes and have trouble warming up my muscles and joints. I finally decided that my workouts are too important to have the weather wrecking them. I hired an HVAC contractor and invested into a ductless heat pump. There is a small outdoor compressor that links by way of a conduit to a streamlined compact air handler that is mounted up high on the wall. The air handler provides both heating and cooling, and I’m able to adjust temperature, fan speed and direction of airflow from an app on my phone. The system is quite energy efficient, and since I only operate it during the workout, it costs me very little.

It’s almost like having a maid in our flat now with this robot vacuum cleaner.

I have all hardwood floors throughout plus it does an amazing job cleaning them plus even mopping afterwards.

It works right around our space heating system plus tables separate from getting stuck anywhere, however i really can’t kneel vacuuming so this was such a gift when I thought about getting 1 the other afternoon, plus now here it is! It has a HEPA filter too so I don’t have to worry about the dust getting past the filter in it. I suppose it cost me about $125 plus was well worth the price. Now I can focus on other things like cleaning our HVAC system plus keeping our windows clean. That is about all of the housework I have to do here except for dishes plus laundry of course. They need to invent a washer that also dries the clothes separate from needing to take them out plus put them in a dryer. Why don’t we have these yet? They seem to have gotten the HVAC technology down but are lagging a bit in the clothes washing plus drying department. Maybe if I look online I will find a washer plus dryer combination already out there. The up-to-date HVAC unit is quite amazing with its ability to keep your lake house the perfect temperature year round. It is also very energy efficient, using not much more power than our boiling water heater. I suppose if we can harness the power of the sunlight for powering HVAC unit we would all be set.
