My parents have a really big anniversary coming up in a couple of months and I have been thinking and thinking about what I can get them as an anniversary gift.

It’s really hard to decide, since they have just about everything that they could ever want.

They don’t really like to travel much, so that’s out of the question. The only thing that I can think of that would be a really good gift idea for them is a heating and cooling preventative maintenance package. Something like that doesn’t really seem very glitzy and glamorous like I feel that an anniversary present should be, but at least I do know that they would love it. My dad is constantly worrying about whether or not the air filters in their HVAC system need to be changed and I know that my mom is always thinking about whether or not the air conditioning is going to be going on the blink. So I know that they would appreciate having a professional HVAC technician come out to check on things for them once every three months or so. Even though it isn’t exactly the most exciting anniversary gift I’ve ever heard of, I do think that they will really like it. My parents are basically very practical people and so a gift like this will probably be something that they will appreciate very much. I think that I will get them a three year subscription for the heating and cooling service and see what happens from there. I honestly think that they are going to love it.

This sounds completely crazy, but before we got married a couple of years ago, my husband bought a house without even seeing it first.

He was working at this company that gave him a really big promotion all of a sudden. He wasn’t really expecting the promotion at that point in his career, but since it was such a big jump in salary and status, he accepted it. Even though it meant that he had to move to a different city in a different state, he thought that the move would be good for his career. Looking back on it, it was a good thing because he ended up meeting me in that city too! Anyway, whenever he moved, he didn’t have time to go house hunting and so he hired a realtor to find a place for him. The only thing that he really cared about as far as the house specifics went was the HVAC system. He told the realtor that he really wanted a high efficiency air conditioning system and a place with radiant heated flooring. Since he was getting this big promotion, he could really afford just about anything that he wanted at that point. He also told her that he wanted a wood burning fireplace in the bedroom and another one in the living room. Since he gave her all of those specifics, it was easy for her to find a place for him. The house is beautiful and best of all, once we got married, I got to move in there with him too!

My daughter recently asked us to get her a pretty unusual birthday gift.

Instead of asking for new shoes or a fancy purse or something like that, she asked us to get her a new smart thermostat system for her apartment.

It actually made me feel pretty proud that she was acting like a grown up for once. She was actually asking for something that’s more practical and not so silly. I think that is a good sign that she is finally growing up a little bit. My husband and I were actually worried about the fact that she might never grow up at all! For the longest time, all that she would ever ask for was dumb stuff, and we felt dumb for even purchasing it for her. Now that she has moved out into her own place, though, I think she is starting to realize the value of a dollar. The fact that she wanted us to get her a new smart thermostat really makes me feel proud of her. She said that she wants a new smart thermostat because she knows that it will help her save money on her heating and cooling bills every month. The fact that she is thinking ahead and worrying about the heating and cooling bills in her apartment actually gives me hope for the future for her. I am happy to purchase a new smart thermostat for her, since it’s something that will end up being really useful to her in the future and it will improve the indoor air quality in her apartment in the short term, too.

My son thinks that he might want to go and take classes at a technical school near us so that he can become an HVAC technician. He has been talking about it for a while now, so I think that he might actually be serious about it. He keeps telling us that he has always been interested in the heating and cooling profession, so maybe it’s something that has been on his mind. Personally, I never really knew that he was interested in the heating and cooling provision at all. I always thought that he was going to go into the automotive mechanic profession or something along those lines. I guess that just goes to show you that you don’t really ever know what your kids are thinking. Anyway, I’m pretty happy to find out that he wants to take these classes at the technical school that’s close to us. First of all, he won’t have to move away and go to college somewhere. That will save us a ton of money. He will be able to live at home and still attend his classes. The technical school that is near us is a really great one. They have all kinds of classes including automotive repair, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning classes. The tuition is very reasonable, and I know that he will come out of there with a great education in the HVAC industry. I think that he will be making a good decision if he decides to go into that as his career. I’m very proud of him!

There is a really weird smell coming from the air ducts in my sister’s house and she called me up to see what I thought she should do about it.

I told her that I don’t really know what the smell could be, but then I told her that I really think that she should get it checked out by an air conditioning and heating professional.

When there is something wrong with the indoor air quality in your house, I don’t think it’s something that you should really mess around with. I feel like the indoor air quality in your home is very important because if there is something bad that you are breathing in all the time, then it is going to make you sick. Your respiratory health is very important, and if you have kids in the house the way that she does, it becomes even more important to make sure that your indoor air quality is good. Anyway, I told her that the weird smell in her air ducts could actually be anything. She may have mold or mildew growing inside of the air ducts, or even worse, she could have a dead animal up there somehow. I don’t think the idea of a dead animal being up there is very likely since the ventilation system runs on a closed circuit, but you never know. When I said that it could be a dead rodent of some sort, that’s what pushed her over the edge. She told me that she had decided that she was going to call her HVAC company right away.

We felt like we were at the North Pole or something like that.

Back when I was growing up, there weren’t very many places around here that had central air conditioning in them. At that point in time, the area in which we lived was a really poor place and not many people had the money to get central air conditioning installed in their homes and businesses. Of course, back then, we did not really know that we were all that poor, even though we were. We did know that only rich people had air conditioning, and the only time that we ever really experienced air conditioning at all was when we went into town and inside the bank or one of the main expensive businesses on Main Street. It was just one of those things that we did not think about all that much because nobody that we knew had air conditioning. I remember the first time that I ever felt air conditioning. It was when I went with my mother and my little brother to the bank one day. I remember feeling the cold air blowing down on me from the air conditioning vents in the bank lobby. It actually felt magical to me and my little brother. We felt like we were at the North Pole or something like that. After that, I always used to pretend that we had air conditioning in our house too. Of course, that never happened until long after I had graduated from high school. These days, there is air conditioning all over the place, but I think that most people take it for granted.

Today at my son’s baseball game, I was really wishing for an air conditioning system of some sort.

Of course, baseball is the sport of summer, and everybody seems to be playing during the hottest part of the year.

If you know anything at all about baseball, then you know that it is also the longest sport that there is. Baseball games can sometimes last forever. The last game that I went to ended up going into extra innings and I was there for three hours. Of course, as luck would have it, it was also one of the hottest days of the year! The temperature that day ended up being 93 degrees and I felt really bad about the fact that the boys were out there in the hot sun in their long baseball pants. Anyway, today at my son’s game, I was really feeling like I was going to melt. There was not even any shade anywhere around the field, so there was no way to cool off at all. A couple of times, I thought about going and sitting in my car for a while and turning their air conditioning on full blast. I didn’t do it though, because I did not want to miss anything. But the high temperature really made me start wishing that I had some sort of personal cooling system. Someone needs to invent a personal cooling system for baseball moms who have to go and sit at the hot field for hours at a time all summer long. Maybe I will do it.

My husband and I have always been real connoisseurs of coffee.

We love all kinds of beans, but dark roast is the best coffee, that’s for sure. I know that a lot of people don’t really take things like that seriously, but my husband and I are not that type of people. Sometimes we wonder how we used to live back when we didn’t use fresh ground beans from organic coffee companies. Anyway, we have become what you might call coffee snobs. We don’t like any of the coffee around here, and we think that we are better than everyone who drinks that rubbish. We have decided that we are going to open up a little coffee shop together and right now we are working on the heating and cooling aspect of the coffee shop. We want to make sure that we have really great indoor air quality inside of the coffee shop because a lot of places around here don’t. We figure that if we can’t draw people in with our delicious coffee beans, we will draw them in with their wonderful indoor air quality. During the summer, people really like air conditioning, but you have to have it at just the right levels. We are going to be really careful about keeping the thermostat settings just right so people will feel very comfortable inside of our shop. That way they will not want to leave, and then they will buy more and more coffee from us. I think we will also put in a gas log fireplace so that it will feel nice and cozy inside.

My son decided that he wants to work on a berry farm this summer.

This is the first that I have ever heard about that sort of thing.

I was really surprised when he came to us and told us that he wanted to go work on this berry farm that’s a few miles away from our house. Usually my son just wants to sit around in the air conditioning all summer, but this year he told us that he wants to work outside. It was really shocking when he first told us about it. I did not think that he would actually go through with it, honestly. I thought that he would go and work there for one day or maybe two and then he would give up because he wanted to come home and sit in the cold air conditioning at our house. But, it is already his third week of work and he is still going strong. He says that he really enjoys the work, even though it gets really hot outside in the fields. I have to say that I am somewhat impressed with his work ethic because I used to think they did not even have one. He says that the only time that they get to sit in the air conditioning and cool off is when they take their breaks in the main area of the barn that has a little window unit air conditioning system in it. I am pretty proud of him for going and doing this job, because honestly I don’t know if I could do it myself. I guess he really loves picking strawberries, and he is thinking about going to school for agriculture next semester.

My husband and I are planning to put an addition onto our house this year.

We have been living in our current house for about 5 years now, and it’s finally time that we got around to adding onto this place.

We planned on doing it way back when we purchased the property five years ago, but you know how things go when you are a homeowner. It seems like different things come up all the time, for some reason. Then you end up putting things off over and over and before you know it, you’ve been living in a tiny place for five years and it’s no bigger! That is exactly what happened to us, and now we are going to try and fix it. We are in the middle of negotiations with our general contractor at the moment. He is currently trying to figure out what sort of heating and cooling system he wants to put in the addition for us. We don’t know if we want to tie in the addition with our current HVAC system or if we should put in a new one for the new part of the house. It’s something that we have been discussing for awhile now, and Since the build is coming up soon, we are going to have to decide what we want to do about it. I think that we are actually going to go and talk directly to an HVAC contractor instead of leaving it up to our general contractor. We just don’t know what the best thing would be for our future heating and cooling bills and we want to talk to an HVAC professional about it. I hope that our general contractor will understand.
