My husband told myself and others to come with something that would help bring current buyers to our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company. I told him the people I was with and I needed a scavenger hunt that ended with someone getting a current Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system, but he said that was too gimmicky. He didn’t love the idea. She talked about a contest where people could help solve a mystery. She wrote a story that was more of a mystery book than anything. People had to do a lot of research on Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems if they wanted to solve the mystery. Someone would win an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan if they were the first to solve the mystery of the air conditioner unit. Mom put a lot of labor into the story she wrote & then posted on dad’s Heating, Ventilation, & A/C website. She talked about the opening of a haunting & then made it sound love it was a bad component in the A/C unit. The first person to solve the mystery won the game. The contest ran for nearly two weeks before anyone came up with the right answer. It was also the first time I realized how strongly the internet wove into everyone’s lives. She had people trying to figure out the mystery who were on the other side of the world. I asked how dad was going to deliver the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan to someone that was thoUSAnds of miles away. He said he would need to do a lot of extravagant talking to other Heating, Ventilation, & A/C companies; Knowing our dad, you could live in the Arctic, & he would find someway to get the prgave Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan to the winner.

Mom was an avid seamstress and with all the people coming to his for special dresses, he told Mom he needed a room just for his doing crafts machines, he had taken over the spare study room for people to try clothing on, however he had his doing crafts device in the closet.

Mom gave to build a room off the current home where he could have his doing crafts machine, a fitting room, and a room for all his supplies, but the only thing he was unsure of was if they could extend the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan into that area, but he called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer and asked if someone could look at the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system.

He told them he was building an addition on the current home and wanted to think what he could do for Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. when the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker arrived he checked the air duct, furnace, and air conditioning unit. He said he thought the room was going to be too far away to benefit from the current Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, but putting air duct through the concrete was going to be high-priced. He suggested they consider a mini break Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan for the addition, after talking to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker, he asked about installing radiant heated flooring in the bathroom. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker told Mom that could be done with electric heat tapes, however it wouldn’t be anymore high-priced than what both of us were currently paying, then mom was finally going to have the doing crafts room he regularly wanted, with private areas for his paying shoppers. The ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan and radiant heated flooring were just a single more plus for his and his shoppers, and he was going to teach myself and others how to sew.

Both of us are driving back from our road trip to the mountain and the car is all steamed up from all of the wet clothes on us.

I told her to try and turn on the heating and air conditioning plan to see if it dries the air, however it seems like it is not keeping up with the work. Both of us went swimming in a boiling spring after skiing and I suppose all of our clothes are wet and keeping the humidity up honestly high in the car. I asked the heating and air conditioning pro, who is sitting in the front seat next to the driver, if there is another way to remove the moisture from the air. He said the best way is to run the heater, as well as open the windows just a little bit. I suppose we all need to just get a towel and use it to wipe the windshield every now and then. I am not a heating and cooling expert by any means, however occasionally the first solution is sometimes the best solution. So now the two of us are looking for a dry towel in the car, however we don’t seem to be having any luck with that either. There is a local corporation an hour or so up the road and I suppose the two of us should just stop there for a while till we all find a solution. The best thing would be if we had a dryer to dry the clothes somehow.

I have to write several more articles and am trying to get them done before the two of us get home, as the two of us are planning a long night of Monopoly with our ski group. I was going to bring my drum and play with my bandmate, however there wasn’t enough room, so I had to leave it behind. Both of us will practice songs after the game tonight for a little bit and then hop in our beds for a much needed sleep. There is a fireplace in the room where the two of us are staying and I am going to build a nice fire before we break out that board game. I can’t believe my feet right now in the car because they got wet and are freezing and numb now. I would love to have some little heating device under my feet right now to heat them up a bit. The superb news is there is a boiling shower waiting for me back at the lake house and I am going to be the first one to hop in it. They have a sizable boiling water heating system tank and I am hoping the group of us have enough boiling water for everyone to take a moderate shower with. I suppose we all should limit the time in the tub to under three minutes per person, or there may not be enough boiling water for us all. I was going to adjust the smart temperature control on the heating and air conditioning unit before the group of us left, although I forgot to do so. I may turn the heat up on the hot water heating system also as soon as the two of us get back.

It can happen very abruptly, you get lost and end up dead in one short night.

This is what almost happened the other night while doing a little trip to the boiling hot springs on the border of France. I’ve faced death a few times in life and this one was right there with the other times, and I somehow got out of this one alive too. I am going back to our little village tomorrow, although I will remember this fun trip as well as all of the crazy things that came with it. In just three days I’ll be working at the heating and air conditioning corporation doing our normal heating and cooling component repairs as well as thinking about this trip the two of us just did. I will be taking another trip over the Atlantic Ocean soon and headed for another adventure back in my hometown. My friend is a local contractor back home and was asking me if I could help him do some commercial air conditioner replacements and I told him yes, of course I could. I can tell him all about our fun trip to the mountains with our friends as well as how I almost ended up being a landmark on that mountain for other hikers to take pictures of. I have a new appreciation for heating as well as fireplaces in homes after being so freezing for so long on that mountain that one night. I suppose next time I go hiking I am going to bring a compass and a tent, so if I get lost I can just make a small home and sleep for the night. Oh, and I would also bring a small portable gas heater!

I just took a trip to the boiling sulfur springs and the two of us lost our heat on the way here. That was nothing compared to what almost happened on the way back though. I took off early from the boiling springs because it was getting dark and the path back was quite treacherous and confusing. After about more than four hours of walking back, I realized I was going the wrong way and so I turned around and went back to meet the group. When I got back though, the group was gone and it was just me by myself. My heating and air conditioning rep friend had my phone and that was going to be my light to see, so now I was lost with no light as well as no phone to call. I kept calm despite the fact that I knew I would not survive the sub zero night with no heating device or tent. Luckily, I spotted some lights above me to the left, far above me, and I yelled and whistled and they heard me because the lights were flashing me. I just wanted a warm fireplace in the lodge with a big comforter wrapped around me. So, I ran and caught up with the group and I finally made it back to safety. I thought about that mountain when I got to the lake house and realized if I did get lost, and had no furnace or space heating device to keep me moderate, I would have ended up frozen by the time morning rolled around. It was several degrees below zero that night I heard on the weather forecast the next morning.

Both of us are now in a car taking a little trip to the thermal baths on the Spanish and French borders.

I suppose we will be on the road for just an hour or so and I am going to try and knock out these articles so I can enjoy the view of the mountains on the way back.

The local corporation where I work back home gave me some days off from my duct cleaning job and I am enjoying them to the fullest. Today is our last full day of this trip and it should be a fun one, as I have never been to a thermal bath for a swim. I normally swim in the freezing sea back home, so this will be a welcome change for me. Come Tuesday I will be back in the heating and cooling corp doing my job once again and remembering this fun trip. It is kind of cool that I can do my side job with these articles and make a bit of money while the two of us are on the road. This world has changed a lot in the past 45 years hasn’t it? You used to have to work at the local corporation each day and get there by horse and carriage in a vehicle which has no heating and air conditioning system. Now I am now working in our heated car, traveling at 72 miles per hour, and having fun while making money on the road. The temps are below freezing outside, however with the amazing heating system in this car, the two of us are all comfy and cheerful on our journey.

The pandemic honestly took a toll on our economy, and many of the small corporations in our area did not survive the lockdown. The pandemic was an unprecedented event that nobody saw coming and some corporation owners were left to fend for themselves. There was some help from the federal government in the form of a stimulus, however some corporations still suffered grave consequences and had to permanently close their doors. While some corporations did not survive, there were others that thrived and even saw growth during the pandemic. The heating and air conditioning industry has been steadily growing over the years, however it did see an even higher amount of growth during the lockdowns. With more people working from home, it meant they were using their heating and air conditioning units more now than ever. And as with any equipment, the increased use led to more malfunctions. Not to mention that during quarantine, the two of us experienced some of our warmest months, so a lot of heating and air conditioning units broke down during that time. Personally, I have an older heating and air conditioning unit, and sure enough, it broke down about three months after I began to work from home. The capacitor, which is an electrical component responsible for starting the heating and air conditioning unit, malfunctioned. Prior to that incident, I had never had an issue with our unit. Turns out that the capacitor is sensitive to heat and it will fail from direct sunlight as well as if the device is running too hard. So, it was inevitable for that malfunction to happen during the pandemic. Therefore if our device broke, there were tons of other units that experienced problems during that time. This means that demand increased for heating and air conditioning companies all over the country.

I grew up in the northern section of the country where the temperature gets pretty freezing during the wintertime months. And when I was a child, our lake house was consistently moderate and toasty in the colder season. Both of us used a radiator that was affixed to a boiler as our heat source during the winter. However, the lake house that we both lived in did not have central heating or cooling. In fact, most houses as well as buildings in the village did not have central heating or cooling equipment. When the houses and buildings were constructed, central heating and air conditioning was not an official component found inside those homes. So, as well as the radiator that the two of us used for heat in the winter, we also had some window A/C units that we used to keep cool during the summer months. Back then, life was much self-explanatory, and I was grateful that our lake house had heat and air conditioning. I have since moved out of that city, so I have been using a central heating and air conditioning device ever since. And of course, it’s a luxury to have cooling as well as a heating component inside our home. For several of those residents that still live in the village that I grew up in, they don’t have the same luxuries. In fact, unless the building or lake house is a newly built structure, chances are the residents are still relying on a radiator for heat and a window air conditioner for cooling in the summer. When you live in the city you get used to those options, and it wasn’t until I moved out that I realized how much more comfort a heating and air conditioning device provides for a home.
