I’m watching as my region of the country is going through that annual rebirth process that I love.

For sure, I really enjoy having such a mild winter and I’m sad to see that end.

But we also get this gorgeous Spring prior to the brutal heat and humidity of the coming Summer. However, the temperatures are rising and I’m hearing a few heat pumps kick on with this year’s first bit of air conditioning. That’s something that I’m looking to change up a bit when it comes to dealing with the climate here. I’ve been down here for more than a decade now and it’s time that I start acting like it when it comes to the climate. I’m done being that guy who is scurrying from one the commercial HVAC of the office to the central air conditioning at home. I’ve decided that I’m not spending my entire summer inside the air conditioning this year. Where I live is beautiful with plenty to do outside. But since I’ve been here, I pretty much stay inside the cooling comfort of the residential HVAC all Summer. That’s going to change and I’m going to save on air conditioning costs as well. It’s a pretty simple plan really. I’m just not going to reach for the thermostat until much deeper into the Spring. I sort of want to lean into getting more accustomed to the climate here. Granted, you don’t want to be outside during the peak heating hours of the summer. That’s a time of day where being inside the central air conditioning of home or the commercial HVAC of the office is a good idea. But I want to get more comfortable with higher temperatures simply so I can get outside in the morning or after I get home from work.

I got home last week, and my husband was soot from head to toe.

I asked what he had been doing with his time off.

He told me he was cleaning the fireplace chimney. I knew we had a chimney sweep that cleaned the chimney, and I couldn’t figure out why he was doing it. He told me the fireplace chimney wasn’t hard to clean, but I begged to differ. From the looks of him, he was looking up when the soot broke loose. I was worried he may have inhaled some of the soot. I asked him to please let the chimney sweep clean the fireplace chimney from now on. He was taking the man’s job. I knew my husband was bored with retirement, but I would be joining him at the end of the year. We had plans for travelling next year, but that wasn’t helping him now. I told him he should go back to the HVAC company. They were always looking for mentors. He could also go to the college and see if they need HVAC instructors for their HVAC classes. Our son thought this was a good idea when we approached him. He said he could use dad as a trainer and he knew the school was looking for instructors. I knew my husband wished he had waited until I retired to hand the HVAC company over to our son, but what was done was done. There was no turning back. A week later, I got home to a husband that was whistling. He was going to spend the week with a new HVAC technician, and the following week, he was starting his position as assistant HVAC instructor at the local community college.

When I moved into my apartment, I thought it was beautiful.

Unfortunately, I had to call the maintenance man every day as I was finding new things broken.

The apartment building was brand new, and I had an apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a working fireplace. After less than a month, I had to get a new refrigerator, the washer and dryer hadn’t been connected, and the fireplace wouldn’t light. It was chilly in the apartment, because they hadn’t put a thermostat in there yet. Monday morning, I was waiting for the HVAC technician to install the thermostats. On Tuesday, the maintenance man told me they would have a plumber at the apartment to turn on the gas so I could use the fireplace. I thought I should have access to the gas lever so I could use the fireplace instead of the furnace. He wasn’t happy when I said this, but he told me to take it up with the plumber. Wednesday, I should have been at work, but I was waiting for the HVAC technician. He hadn’t brought the right thermostats the apartment manager ordered, and he needed instructions on where they were to go. I spent an entire day listening to the building manager and the HVAC technician argue over the placement of six thermostats. It is soon going to be time for me sign a new lease. Mine is for only one year, but I am hoping the second lease will be for five years. I love the apartment now that the bugs are all worked out. I am only five minutes from work if I walk, and I have excellent HVAC, and a working fireplace. What more could a single woman want?

I would go camping in the summer time a lot more if it wasn’t so humid out at night while in that time of the year.

As such, Spring and Autumn and usually milder temperatures for hiking and camping, even if you contend with the cooler night minutes.

I don’t care about covered in sweat in my sleeping tote and having my skin stick to the inner lining. My spouse is much tougher than I am when it comes to “roughing it” in the wilderness because she camped with her father and sisters from the age of many years old. She l earned how to build shelters, start fires, scrub and cook fish, and other essential survival skills. Some days my spouse talks about selling everything and living in an RV, however the particulars usually bring her back down to reality when she realizes the number of sacrifices the people I was with and I would be forced to make if the people I was with and I got rid of our lake house and lived on the road exclusively. That’s why I’m ecstatic to go camping with her anytime she wants to satisfy that urge, even if that means I’m uncomfortable in warm summer time temperatures. One day I was browsing the clearance aisle at the local superstore and saw this product called a personal air cooler and thought it would be perfect for summer time camping. I was wrong in so several ways, not realizing I had bought a cheap and ineffective version of an evaporative cooler. The worst section is that evaporative coolers usually only work effectively in environments with humidity levels below 50%. When we’re camping at night in the summer, occasionally the humidity is 100%. Then you’re just blowing warm air and water on your face with that cheap personal “air cooler.”

For some reason, the air conditioner kept turning off in the hotel room that we were staying in the other night.

It was so aggravating! I regularly set the air conditioner really low whenever we are staying in hotel rooms.

That’s because I think that it gets so overheated plus stuffy inside of hotel rooms while we are asleep. Maybe that’s because there are regularly 4 or 5 of us in the hotel room at the same time. My fiance plus I regularly travel with our three kids. I would normally blame one of the kids for breaking the air conditioner, however that’s not what happened this time. This time, the kids were all super tired plus all three of them went right to sleep. I decided to go on plus set the temperature control at 65 the way that I normally do, however the thing just wouldn’t stop turning itself off. I don’t think what in the world was going on with the cooling system system, unless it was doing it on purpose! That’s when I got the awful plan that maybe they had settings built right into the temperature control plus you could not entirely adjust them to be warmer or cooler. I was pretty aggravated about that because the nice cold air that I get in the room at the hotel is one of the main reasons that I ever want to stay in a hotel in the first site. Without being able to adjust the air conditioner the way that I wanted it, I knew that I was going to wake up dripping with sweat. I’m regularly overheated these mornings. I called the front desk to see if there was some way to override the system, however they said that there wasn’t.

Talking to my cousin John about my visit to the doctor the other day plus realized both of us go to the same Dentist… When John plus I got insurance for our jobs a few years ago both of us both went to our neighbor Mike to see who he goes to.

• We didn’t realize at the time both of us were meeting the same guy but both of us recently found out both of us do when both of us talked about unusual topics, then mainly the subject was where both of us dislike to go because the air conditioning is so cold.

We listed a few arenas appreciate I said the theater, plus he said the pool at the gym, however then both of us landed on the air quality at the doctor’s office, however first of all my Dentist Mr, however robert Estlund is a unbelievable guy plus he does a phenomenal job, i’d say it’s minute to no 1. The 1 thing about his doctor’s office is that he prefers it cold. I sometimes walk in with jeans on even when it’s 90 degrees outside because after being in his office for 10 hours I can’t handle wearing shorts. I believe John plus I shared a couple of stories about our visits there plus I did say it may not last much longer because the guy doesn’t scrub his air conditioning filters, but so undoubtedly 1 day both of us will walk in there plus it will know appreciate a sauna plus that day I’ll dislike to be wearing jeans. I have talked to our doctor a few times about the temperature but he laughs plus you can tell he is grinning behind his plastic mask. His esure provide it away. Regardless he’s a unbelievable guy but I wish he’d take myself and others seriously about the temperature.

I tried talking to a few people to see if there is anything I can do however there legitimately isn’t

I’m legitimately getting sick as well as exhausted of it. Three times a afternoon I have been getting iPhone calls from scammers telling myself and others that they have this good promotional thing about updating our electric oil furnace system. I literally just had an Heating as well as Air Conditioning expert come into our lake house as well as update our system last week. I used to have a gas oil furnace however wanted to go a different route. I just don’t suppose how these scammers like knew I was at one point in the market to update our system. Maybe our iPhone or laptop is hacked because that’s legitimately the only way they could figure it out. I talked to our acquaintance John about it the other afternoon as well as she says she gets multiple about her vehicle extended warranty. My other acquaintance Beth says that she gets a few a afternoon about her vehicle insurance policy. I can say I’m getting seriously worried as well as wish these iPhone calls would stop. I used to answer them as well as almost got caught however thankfully I outwitted the scammer. Then after that I messed with them a bit because I was bored as well as eventually that became boring, now our iPhone rings as well as I look at it as well as roll our esure in disgust. I thought I should have access to the gas lever so I could use the fireplace instead of the oil furnace. She wasn’t ecstatic when I said this, but she told me to take it up with the plumber. Tuesday, I should have been at work, but I was waiting for the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional. She hadn’t brought the right thermostats the beach house director ordered, plus she needed instruction on where they were to go. I spent an entire day listening to the building director plus the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional argue over the venuement of six thermostats. It is soon going to be time for me sign a current lease! Mine is for only a single year, but I am hoping the sixth lease will be for numerous years. I prefer the beach house now that the bugs are all worked out. I am only numerous minutes from labor if I walk, plus I have excellent Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C, plus a laboring fireplace. What more could a single woman want?
