A few years ago, I had recently moved to a new city to begin residing with our partner, as we had previously been doing long distance across the country! I moved into her duplex, and got settled.

That night, we both started hearing a strange wheezing sound in the living room, almost like intermittent breathing.

It was totally freaky, so I got up to go investigate and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary, however we both tossed and turned throughout the night, jumping to the worst possible scenarios in our heads. In the morning, my partner called our local Heating and A/C supplier to come investigate, as the noise sounded care about it was coming from the heater, but when our HVAC tech finally arrived, he looked around all of our vents and didn’t seem to find anything. He finally was closely inspecting our wall heater, which is our primary source of heat on chilly mornings, and resides in a corner of the residing room, however our Heating and A/C tech removed the grate from the front of our wall heater and realized there was a partially melted kazoo in front of the pilot light. We realized that when air would be produced from our heater, it would blow through the melted kazoo, hence creating a noise care about creepy breathing. Our HVAC tech removed the kazoo and cleaned off all melted remnants of it from our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C unit, and our heating program worked perfectly after that, which was amazing. The strange thing was, we still have no idea how the kazoo got there, and my partner had not heard the noise since the evening I moved in.

They reward customer loyalty on more expensive jobs with discounts like in the nature of ductwork sealing

The heating and air conditioning in my home had not been working right for a while. It was always too hot or too cold unless you set the thermostat higher or lower than you wanted the temperature to be. I had the heating and cooling company send a heat and a/c specialist to look into this. It turned out the answer to the problem was within my ductwork of all things. My ductwork needed to be sealed because it was letting air pockets from outside in the house which was causing the central heating and air conditioning system to not work to the fullest. So a good ductwork sealing job is what I needed done. I agreed to pay for it because I just wanted my central heating and air conditioning system to work right once again. I got the ductwork sealing done and ever since the ductwork sealing was done my central heating and air conditioning system was working right once again. I thanked the heating and cooling specialist for doing such a fine job in sealing my ductwork and making things work right again. I even had a small discount on the job because I have been a customer to this heating and air conditioning company for many years. They reward customer loyalty on more expensive jobs with discounts like in the nature of ductwork sealing. I am so glad my issues are finally all over and done with now. All thanks to the heating and air conditioning specialist identifying the issue and getting the ductwork sealed.

Maybe every 4 months sounds good.

It has been ages since I had the ductwork of my central heating and air conditioning system cleaned. It almost seems like it has been a lifetime to be honest. The air flow of my heating and air conditioning has not been going so good lately, so this was my signal that I needed ductwork cleaning. I called the heat and a/c company and scheduled one of their most certified heating and cooling specialists to clean the ductwork of my central air conditioning and heating system. The price of the ductwork cleaning was not too bad. It could have been worse. But right after I had my ductwork cleaned my heating and cooling was working better than ever before! I could not believe the huge difference in air flow coming out of the air vents of my HVAC unit. It was almost like getting a brand new and up to date central heat and a/c unit to be honest with you all. I just have to say that this whole experience was an awakening to me. In the future I am going to get my ductwork cleaned on a regular basis for sure. Maybe every 4 months sounds good. I would like to have this type of air flow going on constantly. And getting my ductwork cleaned would be the best way and possibly only way to achieve this goal. I can not believe I let my ductwork cleaning go this long. But like I said, it was a wake up call and regular ductwork cleaning is going to be all the time for me now moving forward!

I was so impressed with the emergency HVAC service that I called the other week.

My central heating and air conditioning system had gone down on me right in the middle of over one hundred degree weather. I could not go without air conditioning. So I called the local heat and a/c company and inquired if they had emergency heating and air conditioning home services available for an extra fee. Lucky for me they did. So I had them get a heat and a/c specialist out to my home right away. And would you believe that they actually had my central heating and air conditioning system back up and running super fast? It was all but an hour! And that is going from the time I called to the time the HVAC specialist showed up and finished the repair. Now that is what I call speedy service and also what I call true emergency heating and air conditioning repair! I had never seen a heat and a/c unit fixed that fast before. These guys really know what they are doing and they do not mess around. It cost a lot to get this done, but let me tell you that it was worth every single penny that it cost! If all emergency heat and a/c home services were like this I would probably just call for emergency HVAC service when it was not an emergency! It takes a lot to impress me, and this heating and cooling service went above and beyond in that area.

I really do not like it when the winds are blowing to the west where I live. The reason for this is that when it happens, the air quality is bad. And I mean really bad. I have super horrible allergies and the only relief I can get from the west winds is from my whole home air purification system. The whole home air purification system cleans the indoor air quality of my home making it so I can breathe a bit easier when the air quality gets bad from the winds blowing west. This was the whole reason I bought the whole home air purification system in the first place. If I had not been in the situation with these west winds causing the bad air quality, I would not have had to invest in the whole home air purification system. But I am glad that the option was available and that the technology exists. Because the air quality gets so bad at those times that a portable air purification system would never work in cleaning the air quality. I know because I have tried before I got the whole home air purification system. It really is a godsend and a wonderful blessing that the whole home air purification system works so well to fight these west wind generated bad air quality days. I do not know what I would have done had this been 30 years ago! It would have been a real fight I can tell you that for sure. Praise air purifying technology!

I was pretty mad at the construction workers that have been repairing my roof.

They were so careless that they dropped a wood plank right onto my central heating and air conditioning system! I could not believe they were not more careful! As a result, my central heat and a/c unit was not only dented and damaged, but it knocked something loose which made me have to call the local heat and a/c company to send out one of their certified heating and cooling specialists to repair my central HVAC system unit! And believe me when I tell you that the cost of the HVAC repair and the cost of a new casing for my central heating and air conditioning system was charged to the construction company.

At first they tried to fight me on that, but when I told them that I would take them to small claims court and sue them for as much as I could get out of them, they gladly paid for it without another word! They need to be more careful when doing construction work in someone’s home around the central heat and a/c unit. People do not realize that central heat and a/c systems can not take the beatings that they think they can. At least they paid for it. They continued with the construction and got my roof fixed but I will say one thing, I will never hire these guys again.
