By not being a cheapskate I ended up discovering the best air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system.

• For just a few bucks more than the regular air filters I used to buy I was able to get a pack of HEPA air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system.

These HEPA air filters are the best ever! I have never had air filters that were this great. They keep the air quality clean and they last a bit longer than the standard air filters I used to buy. I was more than happy paying a few bucks more just to be able to try these out. Because now I will be buying HEPA air filters all of the time. HEPA air filters are now my choice air filter to use when I need to change the filter in my central heating and air conditioning system unit. There is no way I would ever go back to the old air filters I was using because HEPA air filters are far superior to those other air filters. Make no mistake folks! When it comes to buying air filters for your central heating and air conditioning system unit the only way to go in my humble opinion is to buy the HEPA brand air filters. There is nothing else in the world like it and I do not think I would ever be able to top these HEPA air filters no matter what else there was. All the hype you hear about HEPA air filters is one hundred and ten percent true. I had my doubts too originally.

I just went to my high school reunion.

It was the 30th anniversary of graduating from high school.

It was really strange to see everyone all old now like me. I did not even recognise a few and some had passed away so of course they were not there. But what was really interesting was that a lot of my former classmates as a teenager ended up becoming certified heating and air conditioning specialists! I could not believe it! I seriously and honestly just could not believe what I was hearing! I really thought at first it was some kind of an early April fools joke all together played on me. But no, this was the truth. For some reason a good handful now worked in the heating and air conditioning business as certified heat and a/c specialists. Some worked for heating and air conditioning companies and some were independent heating and cooling contractors. I did not go into the heating and air conditioning business. I became a lawyer. I was in the minority. I don’t know what it is that made all these people become heating and air conditioning specialists, but I respect it. It just wasn’t my thing. I am glad they are happy though and that they are successful in doing what they wanted to do in life. Heating and air conditioning is a tricky business from what they were telling me. So I know they work hard at their job as I do at mine. It was an interesting night to say the least!

Have you ever purchased something as well as then changed your mind that you did not want it anymore? Well I had this experience recently when I had purchased a portable space heater. I purchased it just on impulse because it was on sale. But then after getting it condo I just realized that I tossed out 72 bucks that could have went for groceries or towards a bill. And I easily did not need this portable space furnace since I had an older 1 already that worked just nice when I needed to use it. So I went back to the store as well as returned the portable space furnace I had purchased. I did not open it, use it or anything. So it was a real easy return. Maybe in the future I will buy a new space heater, however for now I should just stick with the aged 1 as well as easily begin enjoying our pennies seriously! A mistake I will not make again.

Steam boiler

I could not know what I did the other morning by accident. I was doing laundry in the basement, and I ended up dropping a small piece of clothing that somehow made its way into the gas red flame of our gas furnace! It caught on fire and I had to act quick to get it out of the gas furnace opening with a metal rod and then throw water on it immediately; Needless to say the clothing was ruined and had to be thrown out. But I am so lucky that a fire didn’t happen had I not caught it as it happened! This is just 1 example of the dangers of a gas furnace. This little incident woke me up and I am now planning on getting rid of this gas furnace as soon as I can afford to and I am going to invest in a central heating and cooling system. It is about time I get new with things and get a full central heat and cooling system instead of just the central a/c I have now. Having a central heating and cooling system will not only be much safer, however it will also end up making it so that all of our heating and cooling needs are in 1 unit. This will also make it easier for heating and cooling system repair and getting an Heating, Ventilation and A/C tune up. Rather than having to pay twice. One for a gas furnace tune up and 1 for a central a/c tune up.

I have been going to college at night to become a certified heating and a/c specialist.

In the morning I have been working a truly dead end and crappy job.

I am now blissful to say that I passed our final exam and now have our proper certification to become a heating and cooling specialist! This means that I can quit the terrible job truly soon and be able to go and labor out in the heating and a/c business. I system to start by finding a heat and a/c supplier that will hire me. I will labor for them for a while and then try our hand at starting our truly own heating and a/c company and become an independent heating and a/c supplier if it works out. Being an independent heating and a/c supplier is the best way to go from what I have been told by many, then you make more money if successful and also you get to be your own boss and make your own rules unlike working for a heat and a/c corporation. But working for a heating and a/c supplier is where it all starts and we all have to start somewhere. I need to build a little nest egg before trying our hand at the independent supplier thing for heat and a/c work. So it is at least a few years away before I can even think about that side of things. I am just go cheerful that I passed the heating and cooling course!

I recently took a chance on buying washable air filters for our central heating and cooling system.

Had been hearing about washable air filters for a few years now and was truly curious to try them out! Well, the 1s that I obtained were not so great.

When I went to wash them they flaked apart and eventually just ripped. I ended up having to go out and buy some proper air filters for our central heating and cooling system. I am not sure if maybe it was the brand of washable air filters that I obtained being the issue or if washable air filters are just 1 big load of crap all together. I will try the top of the line HEPA washable air filters sometime soon. But I will buy the smallest amount possible to try. Then, if these top of the line HEPA washable air filters do the same thing then we will guess for sure that washable air filters are a lie and just a way to milk more money out of you for nothing. The verdict is still out on the concept of washable air filters in our opinion. But like I said, once I buy those HEPA air filters I will be able to find out either way. For now I am using our standard air filters that have been doing me just fine for ages. I am going to stick with these for a while before I go and try the HEPA brand washable air filters.
