My fiance designed our apartment plus I regularly hated it… She was a large fan of floral patterns, however the whole apartment was one giant flower, however all the material used was itchy plus scratchy too… I thought it kind of looked like a cross between a little kids book plus an outdated lady’s house. It just wasn’t to my taste! When my wonderful friend and I divorced she didn’t want the house. I inherited that mess. I fixed everything that was broken, ancient, plus inconvenient. Then it came to make it my own locale. I realized that I knew next to nothing about decor… How do you change a apartment that is so bad in the first locale too? I looked around plus I found an interior design contractor in my area. They do all sorts of things like traditional, transitional, southwest, plus classic style. I wanted something that was modern, masculine, plus would stand the test of time. Turns out I like a traditional type that was black, white, plus oranges. The interior designer helped me choice out fabrics that I liked, furniture that suited my frame, plus also changed all the ugly decor. The apartment now looks like a normal home. It doesn’t scream bachelor pad or a divorced girl either. I could literally sell the apartment as is to a wide range of people. I am so much more comfortable in a apartment that is decorated to my tastes. I wonder if my ex fiance would like what was done to it or would don’t like it.
