It’s not at all the sort of experience I was hoping for.
But at least I got the whole family out of the central air conditioner of home for a camping trip.
This was a trip that I had wanted to do for a long time. I grew up in a region where the fall weather is just perfect for camping. And that region offers so numerous appealing locales to experience nature. Along with miles and miles of trails, there are endless wonders to behold. When I was a kid, I was consistently out in the wood instead of inside the air conditioner of the house. But my parents brought me up camping and I took to it as though it was second nature. I’ve kept that going as an adult however it’s been limited to solo trips or camping excursions with like minded souls. That’s because my family entirely doesn’t like to get out of the heating and cooling comfort of our home. I do not suppose it’s so much the Heating and A/C they miss as it is all the other comforts of home. So when I recommended that my associate and I go camping this past fall to experience my home region, I did not get much of response. But this was something I entirely wanted my family to experience and experience together. So I ended up having to compromise when it came to the type of camping trip my associate and I made the choice to go on. Instead of being out in the wilderness, my associate and I ended up car camping in a campground. There were showers, kitchens and even wi-fi. But the toughest thing for me was to include a space heating system since my associate and I had an electrical hookup at the campground.
