Instead of being out in the wilderness, my wonderful friend and I ended up car camping in a campground
It’s not at all the sort of experience I was hoping for. But at least I got the whole family out of the central a/c of condo for a camping trip. This was a trip that I had wanted to do for a long time. I grew up in a region where the fall weather is just perfect for camping. And that region offers so many beautiful arenas to experience nature. Along with miles and miles of trails, there are endless wonders to behold. When I was a kid, I was always out in the wood instead of inside the a/c of the house. But my parents brought me up camping and I took to it as though it was second nature. I’ve kept that going as an adult but it’s been limited to solo trips or camping excursions with like minded souls. That’s because my family absolutely does not like to get out of the heating and cooling comfort of our home. I do not guess it’s so much the Heating, Ventilation and A/C they miss as it is all the other comforts of home. So when I suggested that my wonderful friend and I go camping this past fall to experience my condo region, I didn’t get much of response. But this was something I absolutely wanted my family to experience and experience together. So I ended up having to compromise when it came to the type of camping trip my wonderful friend and I went on. Instead of being out in the wilderness, my wonderful friend and I ended up car camping in a campground. There were showers, living rooms and even wi-fi. But the toughest thing for me was to include a space boiler since my wonderful friend and I had an electrical hookup at the campground.
