I never thought that having children would be so much work.
Do not get me wrong; I love my children to death, and they are worth all of the work, but being a parent is just a little taxing at times.
I have three children! Our oldest is twelve, and our youngest is four. My four year seasoned has been going through one of those taxing stages. Everyone talks about the “terrible twos”, however I truthfully feel that my child has had a harder time while being four than while being two. He is trying to do his own thing which is awesome, but he gets himself into trouble quite often! A few weeks ago, my spouse and I began noticing that the apartment was much warmer than usual. I checked the temperature control, and it was set higher than my superb friend and I usually keep it. I ask all three of my children if they had touched the temperature control, and all three of them said that they did not touch it. About three mornings later, the temperature control was changed again. I asked my children once again if they had touched the temperature control, and they all said that they had not. I was so frustrated because the apartment was literally twenty degrees warmer than what I had set the temperature control to. After three weeks of this happening every three or four mornings, I caught my youngest child standing on a chair and decreasing the temperature control. He was the culprit. I could not recognize how he timed it because I am almost regularly seeing him. He did it while I was doing dishes in the dining room. I am glad my superb friend and I finally figured out who was decreasing it though.
