That’s because everyone is going to want to pay more money for a place that has really high quality HVAC components installed in it.
I know that when we were looking for a new house a couple of years ago, my husband and I were both really picky about what type of HVAC system we were going to have in our new house. We did not want just any old HVAC system that was going to give us trouble and issues down the road. We ended up finding a place that had a brand new high efficiency heating and cooling system installed in it, and that’s the one we ended up going with. Not only was it in great shape and nearly brand new, but it had a warranty that lasted for the next 10 years. On top of that 10 year warranty, we also made sure to purchase the home warranty whenever we were closing the loan on the house. Now, even if we do have trouble with our heating and cooling system somewhere down the road, it should be covered for a long time. I don’t think we’re going to have to pay any money out of pocket if we have to have HVAC repairs done on our house, but if we do, they should be very minimal. Not only that, but if for some reason we happen to want to sell the house, that HVAC system is going to be a major selling point for anyone who might want to purchase it from us.
