One of the silliest decisions that I ever made was hoping that I was going to manage to completely repair and renovate my old cottage.
I bought this cottage about a year ago and was expecting it to be ready within 8 months.
However, that is not how it has gone for me. One of the largest kinks for me has been getting my Heating and Air Conditioning unit running. After many emails to Heating and Air Conditioning companies around the neighborhood to check if they’d be able to install a new Heating and Air Conditioning unit into my old cottage, I was mostly met with rejections or vague responses. There was even a time where a guy told me I was insane in a response to my email. It wasn’t until I called the last Heating and Air Conditioning company on the list that I was able to get the help that I needed. The day the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier’s repair tech showed up to my cottage, he did diagnose the problems I was having and what the new course of action needed to be moving forward. The problems were all solved on this initial visit since all of the parts and tools he needed were located in his truck. This same day Heating and Air Conditioning maintenance ended up saving me so much time, money, and effort so I could start focusing on other things in the house. Now with the Heating and Air Conditioning situation taken care of however, it looks like the other problems I’m facing won’t be nearly as quick or straight-forward to fix.
