I was told that it was very easy to sign up for classes to go to HVAC school.
Well, it wasn’t as easy as I was told.
When I went to heating and air conditioning school to get my certification to become a heat and a/c specialist it took me a ton of phone calls and searching to be able to sign up for the right courses. There were so many heating and cooling schools in my local area that it took me about 3 months to finally nail down the correct school for me to get my heating and air conditioning training and certification. Maybe it was easy to some in certain areas of the country, but where I live it was quite complicated. Regardless, I ended up having a really great career in the heat and a/c industry as a result. It has been almost 20 years since I graduated heating and air conditioning school and got my very first job as a certified heat and a/c specialist. I am working today for a different HVAC company than back when. But I can tell you that I have been with this current HVAC company for about 15 years now and going strong. This is the heating and cooling company that I am going to stay with until either they go out of business or it is time for me to retire. They treat us all very well and we even get raises for the longer we are here. It is really great. I am just so glad that I finally have found the perfect heat and a/c company to grow old with.
