Both my sibling and I bought houses in the same year.
Not only were the houses similar in size, but they had similar features.
The only thing different about the many houses was their age! Although my home was older, it had been completely remodeled. Surprisingly, we discovered that although the houses were older, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems were the same model and age. We discovered this during the home inspections and we thought it was particular. I’m someone who believes in having Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems worked on at least twice per year, especially during the changing seasons! Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems are fancy, so it’s crucial to take care of them so they run efficiently and have a long lifespan. I was explaining this to my sibling one afternoon, but he thought that I was wasting my money. According to him, he didn’t want to pay someone to tell him that there was nothing wrong with his Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system. He thought it was absurd that professionals are trained to diagnose and repair Heat, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning equipment. But what’s interesting is that he has twice as many problems with his Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system as I do. Heating, Ventilation, and A/C suppliers come out twice a year to service my HVAC system and that’s it. While my brother pays the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier to come look at something at least twice a year as well, he spends a lot on repairs and labor, and one day he’ll realize his folly.
