My parents are the worst but I shouldn’t say that.
They do take me on nice vacations all over the world a few times of the year.
The thing is they take me to places where the temperature feels like someone is pointing a heater at me at all times. What I’m trying to say if you are not getting it, is that I’m hot! Today, my parents thought it would be a great day to sit on the beach and get a tan as a family or go in the ocean water. One thing about me, I am deathly afraid of the ocean. I can’t see what’s in it and that scares me more than anything. I’m also afraid of the dark but that’s beside the point. As I sit here on the beach feeling the awfulness of the sun on my skin, I can’t wait to get back to our hotel room and crank up the air conditioning. I hope the air conditioning is actually on as well. Back at home, we have a smart thermostat so I know to turn on the air conditioning before I get back. I wish my parents would like to go on vacations to other locations where it isn’t so hot. I mean I don’t want to feel like I need to wear winter gear but something a little cooler would be nice. My dad is currently asleep so I know we’ll be here for a while and my mom is talking to a random stranger about vacation spots. I guess it’s going to be a while until I get to feel that beautiful air conditioning.
