I am up and working at 8am and have been for the past hour or so.
I just couldn’t sleep this day as I had rock n roll going through my mind which awoke me. I have been playing drums and singing with another bandmate for about two years now and my buddy and I have seen a lot of progress over that time. My fine friend and I now have crowds of 60 or 68 people when my buddy and I play and are making more money than before. My fine friend and I will also be doing paid gigs at the beach bars this Summer and hitting the road to do other cities. Heating, Ventilation and A/C repairs was my main job, as I am a certified Heating, Ventilation and A/C pro, and have been for the past 15 years. But now this tunes thing is starting to take over my life, and my sleep, and I am getting addicted to it. I used to suppose about heating and cooling devices, but now my focus is shifting to songwriting and singing, and I could not be happier about it, and my dream is to travel around the country playing gigs in bars and clubs and making people excited with the tunes that my buddy and I make. At 55, I thought I would be an Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker for the local contractor for the rest of my life, but my oh my how life can throw you down a bizarre path just like that. I guess time will tell how it all pans out, but so far it is going genuinely well and in a year or two there could be some cool things going on at the local businesses with us playing tunes in air conditioned clubs.
