It is pretty darn hot out today plus I just want to stay out of the heat until the sunshine goes down.
My buddy and I have been playing tunes in the bars about five mornings a week plus have been making a great amount of money.
They pay us $150 to do the show plus then on top of that my friend and I get another $100 in tips, so my friend and I are making like $600 a week each just playing tunes. That isn’t a ton of money in the real world, but in tunes land that is called a great living. It beats the local company where I used to labor selling produce, which was entirely hard to do considering they had no cooling system during the hot summers. In the wintertime it was hard toiling in the locale because they didn’t use heat at all, as the fruits plus veggies wouldn’t last as long, but now I get to play tunes in air conditioned plus heated clubs during the summers plus winters, plus make a lot of unquestionably cool memories in the process. I assume that is what life is in the end isn’t it, just a bunch of memories. I still pop into the air conditioner company to see my seasoned Heating plus A/C worker friends plus hang out for a bit, but doing so various shows keeps me pretty busy during the year. I hope that I can keep playing tunes for another twenty years plus make it to 75 years seasoned while still playing in clubs like the young lad that I used to be.
