Some people turn on a heating system everytime they are cold, although I use a traditional method every time I want to keep warm, and i normally keep warm by sitting in front of our fireplace.
- I love the natural heat of a fireplace rather than the unnatural heat of the central heating system; Sure central furnaces are nice because they spread the heat all throughout the house, but there is nothing like sitting in front of a fire, and there’s almost like this primal nature to it, it’s just something that seems so old plus yet so common at the same time.
It’s difficult to describe it in words… Anyways, I feel what I’m trying to say is it has a really special feeling to it, plus I’ve always been someone that prefers fire. As the saying goes you play with fire plus you get burned. This was tploy for myself and others because when I was a child I used to terrify our parents all the time by quite literally playing with fire. I never intentionally terrified them, it’s just that I always got into some dangerous activities that always give our parents a heart attack. I find it hilarious but also feel exhausting at the same time when I look back at it. It’s funny just because of some of the silly things I did but at the same time it’s kind of horrifying when you think of the danger you were in plus you didn’t even realize it. Anyways as I got older I l acquired to play with fire in safe ways that didn’t risk burning our lake house down, I never got over our love for fire or fireplaces plus so when I got to place our own I made sure that I got one that had a fireplace in it. There is no heat like the heat from a fireplace.
