My granddaughter told his Grandpa he wanted a playhouse for Christmas.
His anniversary was Christmas day, and he always got a little extra.
I didn’t think the little extra this year was going to be so fancy. She not only got a playhouse, but it could have been our first apartment. He found a used tiny lake house and picked it up for a little of nothing! There was a working bathroom, a lake house bedroom, and a small porch out front. The only thing it needed was new siding, a roof, and a new Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. The inside was pristine, and the plumbing worked well, but it needed to be hooked into someone else plumbing and electricity. Instead, our hubby and son-in-law ran pipes from the lake house to the tiny house, and set up an electric line for the tiny house. They spent several months redoing the tiny house, so he could have his own playhouse. The sewer was an straight-forward decision, but neither of them knew what they wanted to do with Heating, Ventilation & A/C. My hubby suggested they get a single equipment mini split Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. They sold them at our local Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer, and it would not cost much to have it installed. She has now had that playhouse for almost many years, and practically lives there. She told us he wanted to live there when he turned sixteen, but he needed a new Heating, Ventilation & A/C method again. The air conditioning wasn’t working and it did when he was a kid. His father and Grandpa went to city and bought a new mini split Heating, Ventilation & A/C method and had it installed.
