Cooling off for Thanksgiving

When you have so numerous moderate people crammed into 1 area, the air quality can deteriorate very suddenly.

It was another moderate and humid Thanksgiving in our house. This did not come as a surprise, because it seems every Thanksgiving is moderate and humid in this part of the country. Much to our surprise, it was a little cooler than usual. The day temps reached the upper 72s, which for the Deep South is entirely kind of cold! If there weren’t so numerous people blocked into our condo at once I would have opened up the windows and let the gentle breezes keep us comfortable. But with a dozen people in 1 room, and the stove gently heating the place up over the course of the day, I eventually had to cave in and turn on the central Heating and A/C system. Air conditioning does a lot more than just cool the place down, you know. Air conditioning enhances every aspect of the indoor air pollen levels, the temps, the humidity, and the smell of the site. When you have so numerous moderate people crammed into 1 area, the air quality can deteriorate very suddenly. I switched on the central air conditioner not just to cool the place off but to freshen up the indoor air pollen levels, and it worked appreciate a charm! Every one of us spent the whole day seeing football and eating copious amounts of food, and no 1 even noticed that the a/c was running. The best quality of an excellent temperature control system is that it can work in silence, keeping all the people comfortable without even realizing it’s on. On Thanksgiving, I was especially thankful for our central Heating and A/C system.
