I mean, I can understand why because I personally don’t want to go in there either.
The big glass window in our great room really makes the room heat up like crazy in the afternoons. Of course, this really only happens during the summertime but it’s pretty awful for us whenever the temperatures outside are hot and it’s really sunny. It’s different in the winter because that’s when we would actually like to have a little bit of help heating up the great room with its large vaulted ceilings. It’s hard to keep the room heated during the winter, but that’s nothing compared to the issues that we have in the summer with the air conditioning. I think that we could leave the air conditioning running literally all the time during the summer and it wouldn’t make a single bit of difference in that room. The windows just make the heat from the sun feel even hotter and the place starts heating up before lunch. By two in the afternoon, the whole room feels like the inside of a greenhouse and nobody even wants to go in there for any length of time. I mean, I can understand why because I personally don’t want to go in there either. It’s just too hot in that room during the summertime to even try and deal with it. The fact that we are paying so much for air conditioning and we are not really getting anything out of it is concerning, but I’m hoping that we will be able to find something to help out with the problem. I’m calling the HVAC company tomorrow to make an appointment.
