I dropped my window air conditioner, and now, I might be the saddest person in the entire world.
I know that I am not going to be able to afford a new window air conditioner for a long time, which means that I am going to have to live without a window air conditioner now.
I would have never thought that I could do something like this. I have installed that window air conditioner so many times that it isn’t funny. It is an older window air conditioner, and it has always worked so well. I have a studio apartment, which means I only needed the one central air conditioner to cool the entire place down. This time, I messed up very badly. I was trying to install the window air conditioner into my window, but my phone rang in the middle of the installation. Normally, I would wait to check the phone until after the window air conditioner was installed, but I was waiting for an important phone call. I tried balancing the window air conditioner with one hand while I checked the phone, and that is when it happened. The window air conditioner slipped out of the window and dropped to the ground. I can even count how many pieces the air conditioner broke into when it hit the ground. The worst part was that the phone call wasn’t even the important one. I guess that I am going to have to learn to live without the window air conditioner. I will have to start saving up money if I want to have a working window air conditioner next summer.
