Not sure if I want to be an HVAC expert

I have been told that I should stop and think about becoming a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C equipment worker.

How am I supposed to actually know if I should be a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C appliance worker.

Honestly, I don’t even guess if I would savor working as a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C worker. I certainly have nothing against Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C workers on a personal level, but I don’t even know much about their job. I guess that they repair as well as install Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C equipment, however that is basically it. I have never attempted to repair a gas furnace or central air conditioning equipment, as well as I have absolutely no idea in the slightest how they work. Clearly, if I decided to become a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C equipment worker, I would absolutely learn all that I need to learn in order to become a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C equipment worker. That seems like a serious commitment for a job that I don’t even guess that I would like. Is there a way for me to figure out if I would savor a job working on Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C equipment? I wish that there was some kind of tutorial or short demonstration for possibly a month that would let me learn some of the basics to see if I would honestly prefer working on Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C equipment. If I did something similar to that, then I would definitely know if I could see myself doing such work in the long run. Until then, I would dislike to get sucked into a job that I don’t really appreciate, as well as I would dislike to waste my time training to become a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C equipment worker if I wasn’t absolutely sure. Maybe there is a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C business that would hire me for a summer season while in college so I could try it out.
