My daughter recently asked us to get her a pretty unofficial birthday gift. Instead of asking for new shoes or a extravagant purse or something like that, she asked us to get her a new smart thermostat plan for her apartment. It actually made me think pretty proud that she was acting like a grown up for once. She was actually asking for something that has more practical plus not so insane. I think that is a fine sign that she is finally growing up a little bit. My husband plus I were actually concerned about the fact that she might never grow up at all! For the longest time, all that she would ever ask for was dumb stuff, plus all of us felt dumb for even purchasing it for her. Now that she has moved out into her own stadium, though, I think she is starting to realize the value of a dollar. The fact that she wanted us to get her a new smart thermostat actually makes me think proud of her. She said that she wants a new smart thermostat because she knows that it will help her save money on her heating plus cooling bills every month. The fact that she is thinking ahead plus worrying about the heating plus cooling bills in her apartment actually gives me hope for the future for her. I am ecstatic to purchase a new smart thermostat for her, since it’s something that will end up being actually useful to her in the future plus it will improve the indoor air pollen levels in her apartment in the short term, too.
