A lot of people say that they don’t know how I’ve done it, but I have been married to the same man for almost 20 years.
Not only that, but he is an HVAC technician who works crazy hours all the time.
I guess it is a bit of an achievement, when I think about it. Being married to an HVAC technician is difficult sometimes because of the kind of schedule that they keep sometimes. I know that sometimes people don’t understand that HVAC technicians have to keep weird hours sometimes, but that’s just how it is. A lot of times, people have issues with their heating and cooling systems at night and on weekends or holidays. That’s why my husband just ends up with issues with his schedule sometimes. That’s the only thing that I don’t like about him working as an HVAC technician, really. All of the other parts of his job are completely fine with me for the most part. He makes a really good living and he’s great at his job. I am happy that he enjoys his job, but sometimes I get really irritated whenever I want him to come home for dinner or for some sort of a holiday celebration and he is out working on someone’s heating system or cooling system. I wish that people wouldn’t call the HVAC company with their problems after hours and on holidays. I guess that most people just don’t really think about the fact that HVAC technicians like my husband have families that they need to be home with, too!
