My wife finally adjusted her HVAC preferences, and I don’t think that I have ever been more excited about my HVAC units.
My wife and I have argued about the HVAC units for a long time.
We didn’t realize it when we first got married, but she does not like the temperatures that I do. While I prefer using the air conditioner to get colder temperatures, my wife prefers warmer temperatures. During the winter, we spend a ton of money using the heating system, and during the summer, she would be happier if we never used the air conditioner at all. At first, this caused a ton of arguments. I didn’t understand why she would want the house to be warm and uncomfortable, and she didn’t understand why I would constantly want to be cold. I tried overpowering her and hoping that she would get used to it, but I eventually learned that this is not a good method to have a happy marriage. That is why I decided to leave it alone and let her have her way with the HVAC units. Now, after many years, I am happy to inform you that we have the same HVAC preferences. Over the last few years, I have noticed that she has been lowering the temperatures on the thermostat. I don’t know if she was simply trying to learn how to enjoy the colder temperatures or if she wanted it to be that way, but I didn’t say anything. I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Finally, she mentioned that she loved the thermostat setting to be the same as mine, and we finally have unity. I can’t believe my greatest HVAC wish came true.
