For some reason, I cannot get the hotel air conditioner to keep me comfortable; however, our family has been staying in a hotel for a few days on business, and normally, I love sleeping in a hotel.
There is something appealing about the air conditioner plus the comfort of being taken care of in a hotel, then however, this most recent trip to the hotel has been irritating. My wife has the temperature control set to 73 degrees, which is technically moderate in our opinion. However, I consistently think it’s chilly in the middle of the evening due to the air conditioner. However, I have the blankets pulled around me, but I am having trouble sleeping because of it. I have even evaluated the temperature control to see if I had the fan set to run all the time, however it is only supposed to come on when the temperature gets low. There is no way that the air conditioner is only making the room 73 degrees. It must be colder than that. I have talked to the hotel manager, but she told me that there is nothing that they can do about the air conditioner. If I turn the oil furnace on, I have the same complication with the temperature being too warm. I never thought that I would say this, but I am genuinely looking forward to getting a house plus enjoying the normal heating, ventilation, plus A/C unit in our house. Thankfully, the air conditioners in most of the hotels that I have been in do not appreciate this, or I think that I would dislike staying in a hotel room.
