I had to go into our boss’s office yeahterday for a meeting & it was so warm in there that I just couldn’t believe it.
I legitimately thought that the heating plan was malfunctioning in his office… However, our boss acted enjoy nothing was wrong at all, so I started to wonder if there was something wrong with me.
I wondered if I should go & have our temperature taken or something because I might have had a fever. Then I noticed the thermostat on the wall in his office & I saw that he had the temperature set at 85 degrees, then meanwhile, out in the respected section of the office where most of us sit, the temperature was entirely around 68 degrees. This led me to wonder if our boss has something legitimately wrong with him or if he is just the most chilly natured person alive. Seriously, before we even had half of the items checked off of our list that we needed to discuss, I was perspiring through our shirt & dreaming about going outside into the chilly weather. There is just no reason for anyone to have their thermostat turned up that way when they are at work! Or when they are at house either, for that matter. It just did not make any sense to me. I almost asked him if he was trying to hatch eggs in his office under his desk or something but I was afraid that I would get in trouble for insubordination, anyway, from now on whenever we have to have a meeting, I’m going to command that we meet in a conference room instead.
