My friend Jenny ended up with an overpressurized boiler at 1 point over the winter.
When she first told myself and others about it, it actually scared me.
I have constantly been a little bit scared of boilers anyway, despite the fact that I had never heard of 1 actually becoming overpressurized before. When I told Jenny how uneasy I was about it, she just laughed it off. Jenny said that once in a while, boilers tend to become overpressurized. She has had a boiler system as her heating system in her condo ever since she was a kid, so it doesn’t actually faze her at all.She knows that I am uneasy about boilers, though, so anytime I go over to her condo she pokes fun at myself and others a little bit plus talks about the boiler exploding. I suppose that she is just doing it all in great fun, despite the fact that I can’t shake the plan that her condo might blow up 1 day because of it. During the Wintertide this past year, her boiler was overpressurized again plus the measures that she usually takes to repair it were not working, usually, she just goes down to the heating system room in the basement plus fixes the boiler herself. This time, she could not get the pressure to subside plus so she stopped messing around with it. Instead, she went upstairs plus called the local heating plus cooling supplier to have them come out plus repair the boiler for her. I thought that was a actually great transport on her part! If it were me, I would never try to repair it myself at all. I would constantly call the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C supplier first.
