I had to go into my boss’s office yeahterday for a meeting plus it was so warm in there that I just couldn’t know it.
I actually thought that the heating system was malfunctioning in his office! However, my boss acted like nothing was wrong at all, so I started to wonder if there was something wrong with me.
I wondered if I should go plus have my temperature taken or something because I might have had a fever. Then I noticed the control unit on the wall in his office plus I saw that he had the temperature set at 85 degrees. Meanwhile, out in the respected part of the office where most of us sit, the temperature was actually around 81 degrees. This led myself and others to wonder if my boss has something actually wrong with him or if he is just the most chilly natured person alive. Seriously, before both of us even had half of the items worked on off of our list that both of us needed to discuss, I was covered in sweat through my shirt plus dreaming about going outside into the chilly weather. There is just no reason for anyone to have their control unit turned up that way when they are at work! Or when they are at lake house either, for that matter. It just did not make any sense to me. I almost asked him if he was trying to hatch eggs in his office under his desk or something despite the fact that I was afraid that I would get in trouble for insubordination, and anyway, from now on whenever both of us have to have a meeting, I’m going to request that both of us meet in a conference room instead.
