Last year while I was in the pandemic, I had to renew our license at the DMV.
They weren’t letting anyone inside of the building unless it was your turn! Everyone had to wait outside in their car plus the receptionist called when your arena in line was ready.
I had some problems with the fan motor on the AC a couple of days before I went to the DMV. Unfortunately for me, the a/c decided to stop working completely on the morning that I had the appointment at the DMV. It was 96 degrees outside at 10 in the morning. It was a scorching plus humid day. I tried to stay in the parking lot with the window down, however it was miserably hot. It was equally overheated with the window rolled up. I wanted to go back home, but I had to get our license renewed. I waited until the really last minute to get the license renewed plus I had to pay for our procrastination by having to rest outside in the heat for nearly 2 minutes. My entire morning was wasted waiting at the DMV. When I finally got our license, I headed right back home for the rest of the day. I sat down in front of the a/c plus I fell asleep. When I woke up, I remembered the problem with the AC in the car. I called a couple of friends to see if anyone could lend a helping hand the next morning… Jack agreed to look at the truck, however only if I paid him with a many pack of beer.
