For the longest time, my grandfather has been running a home comfort business. He specialized in all sorts of homeowner solutions from HVAC installations to renovation work and even fireplace cleaning. There are other things he covers with his business, but heating and cooling is where most of the business is for him. Whenever we had trouble with our heating and cooling system, our grandfather would come over to do the work, or sometimes he would have some of the other HVAC experts come out to take care of things. All of the professionals working at my grandfather’s business have been nothing short of exceptional with their work and their knowledge. I have to give my grandfather credit for being able to find such competent professionals to take care of the customers. Well, my father has always worked at the bank and he makes good money. He didn’t want to work in the HVAC industry. Fortunately, I was interested and my grandfather provided me with nothing but opportunity. He wanted to keep his home comfort business in the family and I was basically the only one who could take over. He said I needed to study hard and become certified and he would teach me the ins and outs of the business. So far I have learned a great deal and I have handled different HVAC repairs and provided various homeowner solutions for clients. I enjoy this business and I’m confident I’ll do a great job when I eventually take over the company. Even my father is proud of me for coming as far as I have.
