I thought the Wintertide weather was finally gone Last yearbut now the temperatures dropped again and I found myself outside getting snowed on yeahterday for a few minutes in a neighborhood that never sees snow.
I had to crank our central heating system last night because it was so frigid outside.
You think it’s going to be a frigid night when while I was in the day the skies are totally orange. There were no clouds to keep the heat down so it all escaped and cooled our neighborhood down to a frigid 27F last night. I normally sleep with the window open in our dining room but last night I would have frozen myself if I did it. I actually had to bring in our little gas space heating system to heat our dining room because the central heating system doesn’t heat it so well. I know every one of us have a few more weeks of frigid and then it should be hot again and time to run our air conditioner. I need to test it out to make sure it is cooling down the flat passablely so I am prepared when every one of us get our first heat wave. There is a company down the street that does maintenance and if I know I need some help I will be sure to ask them. The cooling representative that works there told myself and others they can offer myself and others a service plan which would save myself and others money in the long run instead of paying for each maintenance or repair job. I’ll go down there later and talk to the guy to see what it would cost.
