Brian hadn’t been a true part of our buddy group for especially long, but he joined us while in lockdown when we were all added to a group chat.
One of our good friends had met with him while on a trip, plus they got along great.
He told us about him, plus he sounded like a pretty amazing dude! The bunch of us talked about several things in the discussions, including our plans for when it was safer to travel. Since he was new to our particular group, we let Brian decide our next adventure. The bunch of us were honestly willing to do whatever he suggested. Brian was hesitant to speak out, but he said he did want to travel someplace remote in a camper. A good friend had the best camper, plus we later chose a date for when plus where we’d make our way to on the trip. On the day we were leaving, we passed by Brian’s place to get the man, plus his luggage included portable A/C equipment. We actually let him know that the camper had incredible air conditioner equipment, but he insisted on bringing the portable A/C equipment. Better safe than sorry, he kept telling everybody. True to his words, it was better to have the portable A/C equipment plus not need it than to want it plus not have it available at your disposal. On the second day of our camping trip in the spectacular outdoors, our camper air conditioner equipment stopped working. Since none of us was an HVAC pro, we opted to use the portable HVAC equipment that Brian brought until we were able to hire a specialist to repair the camper air conditioner equipment. It took a few more days to locate a town with an HVAC pro available, plus we were easily grateful Brian had packed the portable A/C equipment.
