Early last Summer was a big deal for my wife & I.
That was due to the fact that every one of us ended over a year separate from dining out.
That’s a easily big deal for us as every one of us are pretty much dire foodies. Once every one of us got our hour vaccination, every one of us felt freed from the of our home. All of us both had to work from home while I was in the pandemic. Both of our offices have zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning that every one of us adore. So being sent home to work in our own was sort of insult to injury. But every one of us were also determined not to get the virus & do our best to not spread it if every one of us were asymptomatic. So every one of us stayed home & the thought of eating out just kept us motivated to get through that first year. All of us were fortunate to catch a lull in the virus after every one of us were vaccinated. The new variant hadn’t started wreaking havoc in our section yet so every one of us made a beeline for the new diners in town. The first one every one of us tried was a easily mixed bin & it just didn’t need to be at all. The food was delectable. The service was first rate & the interior was just lovely. Yet, I was covered in sweat before the server even came to get our drink orders. The Heating & Air Conditioning unit was running full blast but simply couldn’t keep up. It’s just completely nonsensical to have less than wonderful commercial Heating & Air Conditioning in a diner. And what a shame too. I wasn’t the only one to experience the lack of satisfactory Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. That’s not a wonderful sign & I doubt that locale is going to last.
