My mom refuses to come over to our new home because he says that both of us keep the temperature control turned down way too low in our house.
I personally feel that he has being deranged because both of us keep the temperature control set at 71 degrees almost year round.
I do not feel that that is too cold, however my mom has always been 1 of those people who thinks that he has to have the temperature control set at 85 degrees during the Wintertide when it’s cold outside. Every one of us just are not going to run our furnace that much in our house, because it’s a lot cheaper or for us to just put on an extra jacket or something then to keep the furnace running all the time. Our heating bills get to be really high during the winter, plus so both of us found that if both of us keep the temperature control set at 71 degrees all year round, it is the optimal setting for us to save money on our heating plus cooling bills. But both of us also want to be able to have my mom over to visit once in a while, plus he is so stubborn that he will not come unless both of us promise to turn the heating up! She’s really hard to get along with occasionally, if you want to feel the truth. I told his that both of us would build a fire in the fireplace plus he could kneel by it the whole time if he was that cold. She says that that is not relaxing enough for his plus maybe he would just bring over his own little space oil furnace to plug in next to his chair.
