I recently bought this new lamp for our office at home. It looked good in the description online, so that is why I bought it. Well, sizable mistake! This lamp is way too bright and also it makes it so that the room really gets too warm from the heat of the bulb! I found myself having to crank our central air conditioner because of this. I am just blissful that I live alone with no wifey or youngsters; Otherwise I would not have been able to crank the central air conditioner plan to combat the heat that this darn lamp was giving off. I plan on figuring out a way to return this thing because I can not deal with this overly bright lamp and the heat that it brings. I will end up overworking our central heating and air conditioner plan machine if I have to keep cranking the air conditioner this much all the time. Also it will eventually make myself and others sick too. Because keep in mind, the rest of the home is freezing when I am done working in our kitchen. It is not care about I have heating and air conditioner zone control, which is also known as Heating, Ventilation plus A/C zone control or a zoned heating and cooling system. Those things would make it so I could just crank the cooling system in this room and not the rest of the house. But I do not have that and in turn I need to get a refund for this lamp and buy another a single that is not so bright and hot!
