We have been getting a lot of storms here lately.
It has made a real mess of things to be honest.
It also alerted me to an issue I had no idea about. And that was the fact that I needed to get the ductwork of my central heating and air conditioning system sealed! All kinds of junk was blowing into the air vents from outside during these storms. And one time, the ductwork even got a little flooded. It was at that point when I had to call the local heating and air conditioning company to send out a certified heat and a/c specialist to see what was going on and why this happened. This was when I was told about getting my ductwork sealed! I was totally unfamiliar with this process. The heat and a/c specialist explained it all to me and told me that it would prevent future issues like this. So naturally I paid to have it done because I did not want all the rain, dirt, grime and even mud getting into the ductwork of my central heating and air conditioning system unit! That is bad for everything and could have very well made my central heating and air conditioning system crash. I would not have liked that. Because that would have meant that I would have had to spend thousands of dollars on a brand new, up to date, very expensive and very big central heating and air conditioning unit. The HVAC systems of today are bigger than the one I have.
