In order to make sure that my daughter’s 16th birthday party was going to go off without a hitch, my wife and I ended up hiring a local residential bee removal service to help with the bee issues that we had been having all around our house. We had started to notice that there were a lot more bees around our house than usual. Then when my wife noticed that the bees were actually yellowjackets and not honey bees or bumblebees, that’s when we started to panic. We knew that if we were going to have a big outside party with a lot of people for the birthday celebration, then we did not want to have issues with yellowjackets! I personally feel like yellow jackets are the worst bees of all. They are just mean. I would rather deal with wasps or any other kind of bee before I would want to deal with yellow jackets. Anyway, we ended up hiring a local bee exterminator to come and do a yellow jacket extermination for us so that the exterior of our house would be safe for the party. We wanted to host most of the party outside on our back deck, but with the bees swarming everywhere, we knew that we could not do that. I’m sure that at least one person that we invited to the party was allergic to bees, so we did not want anything bad to happen! Luckily, the yellow jacket extermination was successful and the party went off as planned. My daughter really loved it.
