My wife & I went to a birthday last Monday & there were no kids allowed.
Instead of getting a sitter, we decided to leave the kids condo alone.
Our many children are 15, 12, & 9. I particularly thought they were aged enough to stay at condo alone without getting into trouble. I was particularly wrong. While we were gone, the kids decided to throw the pigskin around indoors. They broke the temperature control in the hallway. I do not guess how the accident occurred, however there was no AC in the condo when we came condo from the birthday. Since the temperature control was broken, the unit could not talk to the AC to tell it to turn on & off. The kids were all resting quietly in the living room when we walked through the front door. I knew there was a complication when I saw all of their faces. It was also harshly hot inside of the condo when we got home. My oldest child described the events that took locale in the condo & it seemed honestly clear how the temperature control got broken. I did not say a lot to the kids about the broken temperature control machine, however our wife & I knew it was going to be a while before we could particularly trust them to be alone in the condo again. I care about all many of our kids, however they have a lot to learn about being responsible. They could have honestly disfigured something in the condo that was pricey. The two of us were thankful it was only the temperature control & now the antique vase from 300 AD.
