I hate Mondays, because I never get a break on the weekends

The weekends would be a nice time if I ever had the opportunity to sit down and relax for a couple of hours.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to go home on Friday evening and sleep as late as I want on Saturday.

On Saturdays, my wife and I run errands and perform household chores that need to be completed. On Sunday, we spend all day with the kids. We always choose an activity that will be fun for them. After all, it’s the only day during the week that we get to spend together as a family. It’s not as if I can tell the kids that I would rather stay home sleeping on the couch all day, even if that is the truth. I don’t even get to watch football during the season, unless it is the playoffs. Every once in a while it would be nice to have a break from the routine and the monotony. It would certainly help me out on Mondays.. I hate Mondays, because I never get a break on the weekend. When it’s time to go back to work, I feel just as exhausted as I did on Friday. There are several other employees that don’t have children. They come to work on Monday feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I’m just as tired as I was a couple of days before that. I get to sleep an extra hour on Saturdays and Sundays, but I’m just as busy at home as I would be at the HVAC repair shop. Instead of dealing with the children and their problems all day, I have to deal with customers and HVAC problems all day.
