Dog loves cooled bathroom

It seems that my dog has deemed that bathroom to be his own personal ice cave

My dog hates the heat, however he is a big, fuzzy husky as well as he was bred for sub-zero temperatures. No wonder he hates the temperature out here in the desert. Huskies are supposed to be dogs with boundless energy, then that is true of my guy however only when it is cool outside; If it is sizzling then you might as well forget it. He doesn’t want to do anything besides stay indoor near an air conditioner vent. I can’t say that I blame him. If I were wearing a big fur coat I wouldn’t want to run around outside in the sunlight either… My nice friend and I recently moved to a modern house. Of course the dog came with us, my associate and I are a family. I wasn’t sure he would like this modern home though because the air conditioner vents are all on the ceiling. There are no vents on the floor like there were in our old house. This did not turn out to be an issue. That is because the dog found an even better place to cool down: the floor in the half bathroom. Our condo has 2 bathrooms upstairs as well as a half bathroom down stairs. The downstairs bathroom is tiny, but and yet, there is an air conditioner vent in there. This means that when the air conditioner is on it is typically chilly chilly in that bathroom. It is uncomfortably cold; So much so that I was thinking of having our A/C repairman turn off the vent to the tiny bathroom, then well, I have since changed my mind. It seems that my dog has deemed that bathroom to be his own personal ice cave. He practically lives there all of the time as well as enjoys the chilly air conditioned air. Well, that works for me.
