I’m relaxing today before the crazy stuff starts tomorrow in my town.
It is the week of Carnaval and this town is famous for having a lot of parties and parades so this place is going to explode with tourists overnight. It’s a town called Sitges and it is only about 25,000 people normally but tomorrow the population will probably go up by fifty percent or more. I don’t mind because it will only be for a few days and then back to normal next week. I guess I need to maybe dress up like everyone else. I need to check my heater today because my friends are coming to stay tomorrow night and it could be a cold one. I’ve had some problems with it in the past and noticed that it isn’t heating like it used to last year so it may be time for some maintenance. I can call my HVAC provider to come check it out but I don’t think they will be able to come out by tomorrow so I may have to do some work on it myself. I think it may just be dirty and losing efficiency due to that so my first step will be to clean everything. It has a washable HEPA filter so that will be easy to clean. I may open the air handler and take a look inside to make sure everything is clean. The unit has a heat pump so that is another possibility of something that could be malfunctioning. I guess I have my work cut out for me today.
