I got my mom and dad a really great Christmas gift for Christmas this year.
- Usually I have a really hard time trying to decide what to get for them because they really don’t need anything.
Sometimes I get them a trip or a weekend away, but this year they didn’t want to do any traveling because of the whole virus situation. So, instead of getting them something like that, I decided to do something that would make their home more comfortable since they are staying home a lot. I called up our local heating and cooling company and enrolled my parents in their heating and cooling maintenance program for the year. Apparently, this heating and cooling maintenance program is supposed to be the best one out there. Every three months, a certified HVAC technician comes out to their house and does any needed maintenance work on their furnace or their central air conditioning system. They also check the batteries in the thermostat and they change out the air filters. If there are any issues going on with my parents HVAC system, then the HVAC technician will fix it right away and they won’t even have to wait around for an appointment. Best of all, my dad won’t have to worry about fixing it himself and my mom won’t have to get mad if the A/C or the furnace isn’t working up to her standards. I think it’s probably the greatest Christmas gift that I have ever gotten either one of them! I might end up getting them the same exact thing next year!
