In the same year, both my sibling and I bought houses, but the houses had similar size and features. The only thing that was not similar about the two houses was the age of them. My house was older, but it had been completely renovated. Surprisingly, we found out that although the houses were different in age, but our HVAC systems were the same model and age. We discovered this during new home inspections. I’m someone who believes in having Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems tested at least twice per year, especially while in the changing seasons. Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems are high-priced, so it’s crucial to take care of them so they run efficiently and have a long lifespan. I was explaining this to my brother one day, even though he thought that I was wasting my money. According to him, he said that if there wasn’t anything wrong with his Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, he wasn’t going to pay someone to tell him that. I tried to explain how Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals are trained to find issues and service heating and cooling equipment. Even though he thought that concept was ridiculous, he has twice as many issues with his Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan than I do. I pay the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company twice per year to come service my HVAC system and that’s it. My sibling, however, pays the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company to come service or look at something at least twice a year as well, but he spends twice as much on repairs than I do. Someday hopefully he realizes his wrongs. .
