Mice chewed through the gas line to the boiler.

The gas fumes would have lit hastily plus possibly caused an explosion, then he said the gas needed to be cleaned up properly, plus the gas company would need to come back out plus repair the gas line

I could not understand why I was aromaing gas in the basement, but for the last two afternoons, the aroma of gas was getting stronger, plus I could not figure out where it was coming from! We had a gas boiler, plus I was getting upset, however at first I wasn’t upset. We had recently had the fuel tank filled, i thought the gas delivery guy may have leaked some gas when he filled the tank. When the gas aroma got worse, I called the HVAC dealer. I wanted someone to look at the boiler to make sure there was nothing wrong with the boiler. I knew what could happen if a gas boiler broke, plus I wanted nothing to happen to my family. When the HVAC professional arrived, he went all over the boiler, but he found nothing wrong, the only thing he found was that a mouse had chewed a hole in the gas line; Luckily, there were no open flames around the gas line, plus no one had struck a match or caused a spark. The gas fumes would have lit hastily plus possibly caused an explosion, then he said the gas needed to be cleaned up properly, plus the gas company would need to come back out plus repair the gas line. He also recommended my buddy and I have an exterminator come out plus get rid of the mice. I thanked the HVAC professional plus told him he may have been a lifesaver. He shook my hand plus headed out the door; Now, my labor was going to begin, so I got on the PC to call the gas dealer, get someone to get rid of the gas that leaked into the ground, plus an exterminator so it didn’t happen again.
