I don’t want to go to work today.
It’s Friday and I just want to start my weekend a day early.
Is that so much to ask? I do have some sick time left but there are still a few months left and what if I need a few days before the year ends? I’m already showered, teeth brushed and all I have to do is grab my keys and head out the door. I’m just not feeling it at all. I woke up a bit tired but not tired enough to not go to work. It took me forever to get out of my bed. It was just so comfy and the central air conditioning just made me feel so relaxed. I know going into work today I won’t have that same relaxed feeling and I think I may just call off. I just have to send an email to my boss saying I’m not feeling great and I can just throw my pajamas back on and enjoy the cool comfort of the air conditioning on my body. I think that’s what happens when you get the HVAC company to send out a cooling expert to update your HVAC system. I haven’t had air conditioning in years and I am just soaking it in. I don’t have any major plans this weekend besides grocery shopping. I can do that later today or now since I’m dressed and come back home after, lounge on the couch and hope that no one calls me to do anything this weekend. I know it sounds a bit lazy but that’s all I truly want right now.
