Woke up this morning with a disgusting smell. It smells like someone left eggs out and they are all rotting away on the kitchen counter. It is so gross and I think I’m going to get sick. I had to get ready for work so I tried ignoring the smell but I just couldn’t do that. Some of the shampoo and body wash helped me avoid the smell for a few minutes until I was done showering and that smell started to overpower my senses. I had enough, I didn’t know what to do but I called my dad. It was 7 am in the morning and I felt bad but I knew I was going to wake him up. He answered his phone and to my surprise, he was wide awake. He said he was about to get some breakfast with some old buddies before work and asked why I was calling so early. I told him that my house smelled like rotten eggs and I can’t get past the smell. I told him that I wanted to call him first before I left for work. My dad said, “stop what you are doing, unplug your HVAC system and call the HVAC company before you go to work.” I was a bit confused and he said from his experience there could be something wrong with my heating and cooling system and an HVAC tech should be able to look at it. He told me if I was able to get someone to my house today that he will stop over and take care of the HVAC specialist while I went to work. So that’s what I did, I called the HVAC company and thankfully they had someone to over and my dad will be there for me.
