It is pretty darn sizzling out today plus I just want to stay out of the heat until the sunshine goes down.
- We have been playing songs in the bars about five evenings a week plus have been making a great amount of currency.
They spend money us $150 to do the show plus then on top of that my friend and I get another $100 in tips, so my friend and I are making like $600 a week each just playing songs. That isn’t a ton of currency in the real world, however in songs land that is called a great living. It beats the local supplier where I used to work selling produce, which was really hard to do considering they had no a/c during the hot summers. In the wintertime it was hard working in the place because they didn’t use heat at all, as the fruits plus veggies wouldn’t last as long… Now I get to play songs in air conditioned plus heated clubs during the summers plus winters, plus make a lot of unquestionably cool memories in the process. I assume that is what life is in the end isn’t it, just a bunch of memories. I still pop into the a/c supplier to see my old HVAC worker friends plus hang out for a bit, however doing so many shows keeps me pretty busy during the year. I hope that I can keep playing songs for another twenty years plus make it to 70 years old while still playing in clubs like the young lad that I used to be.
